If I could talk to myself:

If I could talk to my 5 year old self, I’d tell her to pay attention to how her friends talk to her.

If I could talk to myself at 6 years old, I’d tell her to calm down, to listen when her mother just tells her to breathe.

If I could talk to myself at 7 years old, I’d tell her not to worry about making new friends too much, that she would find her people.

If I could talk to myself at 8 years old, I’d tell her that her best friend at school, just wasn’t treating her right.

If I could talk to myself at 9 years old, I’d tell her to enjoy the last year she would be able to be friends with a boy. I’d tell her that things like that would start changing.

If I could talk to myself at 10 years old, I’d tell her that one bad mark was nothing, and it only meant she needed to work on it.

If I could talk to myself at 11, I’d tell her that marks aren’t the only things that matter. I’d tell her that some people won’t be as kind as they were before, and that just because someone is your friend sometimes doesn’t  make the way that they treat you right.
